Ek Vypaar ("we", "us") helps local businesses in India manage customers, leads and Google reviews. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. By using Ek Vypaar you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Google sign-in information: when you choose "Continue with Google" we receive your name and email address. We never receive your Google password.
- Business details you give us: business name, city, type of business and optionally a mobile number.
- Data you add to the CRM: customers, leads, notes, property inventory, inquiries and similar records you enter.
- Technical data: basic information such as browser type and log data, used to keep the service secure and working.
2. How we use information
- To create your account, sign you in and keep your session secure.
- To suggest and show the CRM that suits your business.
- To store and display the records you add, and to provide support.
- To improve and protect the service and to meet legal obligations.
3. Google user data
We use your Google name and email only to sign you in, create your account and identify you inside Ek Vypaar. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except the service providers listed below that run the service for us. If you later connect Google Business Profile or other Google services, we will ask for your separate permission first and use that data only to provide the feature you chose.
4. Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp (Meta) data
If you choose to connect a Facebook Page or a WhatsApp Business number, we receive, through Meta's permission screen, only what is needed for the feature: the list of Pages you manage, access to the leads submitted through Lead Ads on the Page you select, and, for WhatsApp, the messages that customers send to the number you connect. We use this data only to show those leads and messages to you inside Ek Vypaar. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else. Access tokens are stored securely on our server and are never shown in your browser. You can disconnect at any time from Connections in your workspace, which deletes the stored token.
Data deletion (including Facebook data)
You can remove Facebook and WhatsApp data yourself: open your workspace, go to Connections and press Disconnect, or remove Ek Vypaar from your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites. To delete your whole account and all data, email us at the support address below with the subject "Delete my data". We delete it within 30 days.
5. Where data is stored and who processes it
Your data is stored with our service providers: Supabase (database and sign-in, region: Mumbai, India) and Vercel (website hosting). They process data only to provide their services to us.
6. Your customers' data
The records you enter about your own customers belong to you. You are responsible for having the right to store them and for following applicable laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We act on your instructions and do not use your customers' data for our own purposes.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing us; we will delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.
9. Security
We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect your data. No online service is completely secure, so please keep your account safe.
10. Children
Ek Vypaar is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its updated date.
